Application Instructions

1. Maintain pH Levels: Ensure that pH levels are kept within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If levels fall outside this range, make necessary adjustments using pH increasers or decreasers.
2. Free Chlorine Residuals: For swimming pools, maintain free chlorine residuals between 1 – 3 mg/l (ppm). For spas, the recommended range is 3 – 5 mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled spas require an initial shock or startup dose of 50 mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20 mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours.
3. Application Temperature: This product can be applied directly to pools and spas when the water temperature exceeds 20ºC. If the temperature is below this threshold or if you are unsure, it is advisable to pre-dissolve the granules in a clean plastic container. Use a maximum rate of 100g of granules per 2.2 gallons (10l) of water. Stir well to ensure complete dissolution. Add the resulting solution to the pool or spa while the pump(s) are turned ‘on’, preferably near the water inlets for optimal distribution.
4. Repeat Dosing: If necessary, repeat the application to achieve the desired chlorine levels as indicated in point 2.
5. Regular Shocking: It is recommended to periodically shock or oxidize your water, preferably weekly or fortnightly, using appropriate shock or oxidizer products to eliminate excess contamination.

  • Never mix with any other chemicals, including cleaning products and chlorine products, as this may cause dangerous reactions.

  • Handle the product in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
  • Wash hands thoroughly after use.
  • Store in a cool, dry place to prevent the chemicals from becoming damp.

  • May cause sensitization by inhalation and skin contact, and is very toxic to aquatic organisms, potentially leading to long-term environmental effects.
• Safety Measures:
  • Use biocides safely; always read the label and product information before use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • If ingested, seek medical advice immediately and present the container or label.
  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes; rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of contact with eyes.
