Directions For Use
- Water must be correctly balanced. Consult your pool professional for advice about your pool water. Most stains and scale problems are caused by improper water balance.
- Add 500ml per 50,000 litres of pool water. Allow pool water to filter for at least 12 hours.
- Use double the above amount for severe stain and scale problems.
- For new pools mix 50ml in a bucket of water and add to the pool for every 5,000 litres of pool water. Repeat procedure as pool is filling.
- Continued use of this product will help prevent staining from returning.

pH Minus Powder. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14 and measures the acidity or alkalinity of the water. A pH of less than 7 means the water is acidic, a reading above 7 means the water is alkaline and a pH of 7 is neutral. Ideally the pH for swimming pools is between 7.2 and 7.6. Having the water slightly alkaline means that the pool is more comfortable for swimmers and the equipment is protected from the corrosive water. The effects of a high pH level (too alkaline) means the water can become cloudy, swimmers skin can become dry, chlorine becomes less effective and scale can form.

There are two ways to tell if your pool is a well-managed chlorine treated swimming pool: It will have no odour and the level of chloramines will be less than 0.5 mg/l.
