Directions for use:
Test the pH of your spa water. If the pH of the water is lower than 7.2, then apply pH plus as follows:
- Pre-dissolve the required amount of pH plus in a clean plastic bucket filled with warm water. Stir the solution until the granules are fully dissolved.
- Ensure that your spa circulation pump is turned on before slowly pouring the solution directly onto your spa water surface.
- Continue to run your spa circulation pump for 15 minutes.
- Re-test your spa water and repeat dosage until a pH reading of between 7.2 and 7.6 is achieved.
- Allow 15 minutes before using your spa.

Application Instructions
1. Maintain pH levels within the ideal range 7.2 – 7.6. If the level is not in this range, adjust.
2. Maintain free chlorine residuals within the range Pools: 1 – 3mg/l (ppm); Spas: 3 – 5 mg/l (ppm). * Freshly filled spas require initial shock or start up dose of 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours.
3. This product may be applied directly to pools and spas where temperatures exceed 20ºC. If below this temperature or in doubt pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10l) of water. Stir well to ensure the product is fully dissolved. Add the resulting solution to the pool or spa whilst the pump(s) are turned ‘on’ preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution.
4. Repeat dose application if necessary to achieve levels in point 2 above.
5. It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. weekly/fortnightly) shock or oxidise your water, using shock or oxidiser products, to eliminate any excess contamination.

The most common way to kill bacteria in your pool and keep your swimming pool water healthy is to use chlorine. Before using chlorine, it is important to have a correct water balance first. Once this has been achieved, chlorine levels between 1.0-3.0 mg/l should be satisfactory to preserve bacteria free swimming pool water. There are two ways to tell if your pool is a well-managed chlorine treated swimming pool: It will have no odour and the level of chloramines will be less than 0.5 mg/l.
Mini 20g Chlorine Tablets
These small chlorine tablets will slowly erode over a period of 3-5 days depending on the water flowing over them.
Prior to using these chlorine tablets, adjust the pH levels to the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6 to promote bather comfort and effective chemical use.
These tablets are designed for use with chlorine feeders or floating dispensers. As they release chlorine relatively slowly it may be necessary to shock or oxidise prior to their use to first establish some chlorine more rapidly. Ideal chlorine levels are between 1-3 mg/l (ppm).

pH Minus Powder. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14 and measures the acidity or alkalinity of the water. A pH of less than 7 means the water is acidic, a reading above 7 means the water is alkaline and a pH of 7 is neutral. Ideally the pH for swimming pools is between 7.2 and 7.6. Having the water slightly alkaline means that the pool is more comfortable for swimmers and the equipment is protected from the corrosive water. The effects of a high pH level (too alkaline) means the water can become cloudy, swimmers skin can become dry, chlorine becomes less effective and scale can form.
